Photography
1. What is your favorite photo in the entire paper?
My favorite photo was the one from the Evita article, of Giselle Lozano
1A. Why is this your favorite?
I love the colors in the photo as well as how the subject is framed around the other girls.
1B. What rules of photo composition are evident?
Framing, Rule of Thirds
2. What is your least favorite photo in the entire paper?
I'm going to have to say my least favorite was the one of Hailey Walker in the softball article, in Sports.
2A. Why is this your least favorite?
The subject's feet are cut off, there's a lot of commotion and action going on in the background, and it's a bit blurry.
3. If you were a photographer on staff, which event/photo assignment would you have liked to do for this issue? You will need to look through the entire paper and see the topics covered and decide which one you think would have been fun.
The Evita article would have been something I'd love to cover and take photos for.
4. Overall, how would you rate the photography in this issue? What were the strong points and weak points.
Out of five stars I'd say 3.5. There were some really good photos in here but the cropping of the photos could be worked on. I also think improving overall skills of basic photography rules would make a major impact on the photography.
